Lou Lou Lanai started on the Kona coast, where the idea behind our motto first took root. A honu, the Hawaiian green sea turtle, never rushes. It moves with purpose, always headed somewhere, always in balance with the water around it. That is the holoholo we chase: wandering with intention, not just wandering.
How Ocean Guardians came to life
Ocean Guardians started with a simple idea: wear what you protect. Every design in the collection features an animal that calls Hawaii’s reefs and shorelines home, from monk seals to manta rays to humpback whales. Each piece is a small reminder to mālama, to care for the place that gives us so much.
Madison, our Junior Creative Designer, brings a lot of that spirit to life. Every print starts with real respect for the animal on it, and a lot of reference photos of the real thing.
